Business IT support in Parramatta

Parramatta is offices. Professional services, small firms, people whose clients ask them security questions they can’t answer yet. The work here is less about broken hardware and more about the systems behind it.

What Parramatta calls us about

Microsoft 365, mostly, and usually a version of the same problem. The tenant was set up years ago by whoever was available, multi-factor authentication never got turned on, and staff who left three jobs ago still have accounts. It works, right up until it very much doesn’t.

The other half is compliance pressure arriving from outside: a client, an insurer or a tender asking what your security posture is. The Essential Eight is the framework they mean, and most small firms are three or four controls in without realising it.

How it works in Parramatta

Microsoft 365, properly configured

Licences you’re actually using, MFA on, conditional access set, and offboarding that happens the same day someone leaves.

An Essential Eight review in plain English

Where you actually sit, what to fix first, what can wait, and what each step costs. Not a hundred-page report.

Scheduled visits, not ad-hoc ones

Parramatta parking being what it is, we book a window and bring what the job needs. Day-to-day support runs remote.

Also covering Harris Park · Westmead · North Parramatta · Rosehill · Granville · Merrylands · Wentworthville · Rydalmere. All prices include GST. See what everything costs.

Questions we get from Parramatta

We’re a small firm. Is the Essential Eight overkill for us?

No, and that’s rather the point of it. It’s eight controls, not a framework you’ll never finish. Most of it is configuration you already pay for and haven’t turned on.

Our clients are asking about our security. What do we actually need?

Usually: MFA everywhere, patched machines, a backup somebody has tested, and the ability to say who has access to what. We’ll tell you where you stand before you commit to anything.

Do you need to be onsite?

Rarely, for this kind of work. Microsoft 365 administration, security configuration and most troubleshooting run remotely. We come out for hardware, cabling and anything that needs hands.

Speed, Cost, Quality

You can only select two of these three options for any project with any organisation.

You only need one with Michael Metry of Tech Team Australia – Speed.

Be assured that Cost and Quality come as standard with Michael.

If in doubt, ask Michael for my contact details.

Michael is someone who is honesty ,trustworthy, reliable and understanding and is also someone who takes care and pride into his job he does. He has excellent IT skills that you can ask for and is also very experienced and patient in what he does. He has done jobs for my parents and we cant thank him enough. He also recently came to service my laptop preps for uni and he was sufficient and clean in what he did to my laptop. He also makes it easy for you to understand what technology is about and explains issues that are cause from it. Hes very kind and nice to talk to about anything you want. Hes a caring family person who takes his job seriously with gratitude. He is someone who you can rely on to do a job. Hes the best person you could ask for in requiring assistance. He has gone above and beyond to look after my parents and i and we cant thank him enough. Michael is very good at explaining in English what hes doing and is someone who will make sure the job is done. Michael deserves more than a 5 star rating its a 10 to be honest.
