Before you sign anything

What these plans are not

You’ll find this out eventually. Better it comes from us now than from you at the wrong moment.

Not 24/7

Monitoring runs around the clock. We don’t. Support is business hours, and after hours is 1.5 times the normal rate. Anyone selling you 24/7 at this price has a call centre, not a technician.

Not unlimited support

The included time is pooled across your team and stated on every plan. Beyond it you’re billed at the discounted rate. “Unlimited” from a one-person business is a word, not a promise.

Licences aren’t included

Microsoft 365 is billed by Microsoft, in your name, on your account. We manage it. We don’t resell it and we don’t mark it up, and you keep control of your own tenancy.

Projects are quoted separately

An office move, a new server, a cabling job or a migration is project work. The plan covers keeping things running, not rebuilding them.

Questions we get asked

Why is there a minimum number of users?

Because the setup, the monitoring and the quarterly conversation take the same effort whether you have two people or five. Below 5 users the plan costs more to run than it earns, and a service that quietly loses money is a service that quietly gets neglected. For one or two people, hourly support is the better deal. Ask us and we’ll say so.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Month to month, 30 days’ notice either way. Both ways. If it isn’t working for you we’d rather you left than stayed annoyed, and if you go, your Microsoft 365 tenancy, your data and your documentation are yours. We hand over everything.

What happens when I need more than the included support time?

You’re billed at the discounted plan rate rather than the standard one, and you hear about it before it happens rather than on the invoice. The pooled hours are shared across your team, so a quiet month for one person covers a busy month for another.

Do I need Microsoft 365 Business Premium?

Not required, but it’s the best value in the Microsoft range and we’ll usually recommend it. Business Premium includes the device management and security tooling that the plans use, which means you’re paying Microsoft once for something you’d otherwise buy twice. If you’re on Business Standard we’ll show you the difference and let you decide.

What if I just need someone occasionally?

Then don’t take a plan. Hourly support is $140 onsite and $100 remote, no lock-in, and that suits plenty of businesses. The plans exist because they work out cheaper for people who call often, not because we need you on one. See hourly IT support.

How do I switch from whoever I’m with now?

We start with a look at what you’ve actually got: machines, licences, who has admin, what’s backed up. That’s usually the first time anyone’s written it down. Then we agree a date, we take over the monitoring and admin access, and your current provider hands over. Nothing goes offline in between.

Not sure which one?

Book a free 15-minute call. Tell us how many staff you have and what keeps going wrong, and we’ll tell you which plan fits, or that you don’t need one.

Not sure what you need?

Ring us and describe what’s happening. If it’s a five-minute fix we’ll tell you that on the phone, and it won’t cost you anything.
