Fixed wireless and satellite behave differently from a fibre connection in Penrith, and the fix for a video call that keeps freezing is usually not the thing people expect. It is a long drive. If it can be fixed on a screen share it should be, and you shouldn’t pay travel for something that didn’t need it.
Visits are scheduled, not same-day
We’d rather give you a real day than promise an afternoon and not make it. If it’s urgent we’ll say whether remote can hold it together in the meantime.
Backups that have been restored
Worth more here than anywhere. A power cut or a storm taking a machine out is not a hypothetical up the mountain.

How far up do you come?

Can you fix my internet dropping out?
Often yes, if the problem is inside the house. Where the router sits, what’s on the connection, and whether the Wi-Fi reaches where you work are all fixable. If the fault is on the line itself, that’s your provider, and we’ll tell you that rather than charge you to find out.
Is it cheaper to bring the computer down to you?
For a laptop repair, usually. There’s no travel to pay for. Ring first so we know it’s coming.
